||COVID-19 Closure Update 3-15-2020 6:00pm|
This is John Ogbin from Hopewell Crest school with an important announcement regarding our response to the COVID-19 virus. There are still no cases in Cumberland Country, but in order to exercise caution in regard to our student body, and by the recommendation from the health department, we will be closing school beginning this Tuesday, March 17. We will be tentatively returning on Tuesday, April 14th. As conditions are rapidly changing, we are remaining in contact with the state and will notify you if there are any changes in this plan. During this unprecedented shut down, we will be continuing education at home through the use of teacher-prepared packets. Food distribution will run from 8:30am to 9:30am, for the duration of our closure. Procedural details regarding food service and educational packets will be sent home with the students tomorrow. Please continue to check the school website for changing details and notifications regularly at www.hopewellcrest.org. We will continue to provide updates through Blackboard Connect as information becomes available. If your phone and email accounts are not up to date, please update them as soon as possible in your parent OnCourse connect account in order to continue to receive important updates. Again, there are still no local cases of the virus and we are working to ensure the safety and health of our student body and families. We appreciate your flexibility and patience during this time.
